Catalonia was the third region with the most expensive monthly payment for tenants, behind Madrid (€13.56/m²) and the Balearic Islands (€12.65/m²). For its part, the standard rental flat in Spain had an average price of €10.19/m² in August 2022. This figure showed a monthly fall of -0.49%. In the year-on-year comparison, it rose by 4.73%.
